1. Introduction
Welcome to LobalCard.com, a website that provides pre-paid travel debit cards for inbound travelers to Turkey. The following Terms and Services will govern the use of our website, including the purchase and use of our pre-paid travel debit cards. By using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Services.
2. Use of our Website
2.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our website and purchase our pre-paid travel debit cards.
2.2. Information Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using our website and purchasing our pre-paid travel debit cards. LobalCard.com is not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur as a result of inaccurate information provided by you.
2.3. Intellectual Property: All content on LobalCard.com, including but not limited to images, text, logos, and trademarks, are owned by LobalCard.com and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use or reproduce any content on our website without our written consent.
2.4. Prohibited Activities: You may not use our website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You may not interfere with the security or functionality of our website, or attempt to access any restricted areas of our website without authorization.
3. Pre-Paid Travel Debit Cards
3.1. Purchase and Use: Our pre-paid travel debit cards are available for purchase through our website. Once purchased, the cards can be used at any merchant that accepts debit cards in Turkey. The card is valid for the period specified at the time of purchase.
3.2. Know Your Customer (KYC) Procedures: Due to laws and policies imposed by the central bank of Turkey, all travelers who wish to have a prepaid debit card connected to TROY (Turkey’s local banking network) must provide the following information to gain full benefits of having those cards: Full Name, Passport Scan and Proof of Address Scan. Proof of address can be a utility or phone bill which shows your address in your home country and the passport itself must be shown to LobalCard’s representative upon card delivery.
3.3. Card Fees: The issuance fee of our pre-paid travel debit cards is determined at the time of purchase and includes all applicable fees. The issuance fee is currently 25 EUR. LobalCard.com reserves the right to change fees at any time.
3.4. Card Limits: Currently and due to laws and policies imposed by the central bank of Turkey, our cards have the following limits on the amount of money that can be loaded into them:
- 2,500 TRY when only a copy of the passport is provided.
- 75,000 TRY with passport and accommodation documents (such as your Turkey hotel reservation document).
- 250,000 TRY when passport, accommodation documents, and proof of address from your home country (such as utility bills) are provided.
LobalCard.com reserves the right to impose limits on the amount of money that can be loaded onto a pre-paid travel debit card, as well as any transaction limits that may apply.
3.5. Card Security: You are responsible for keeping your pre-paid travel debit card safe and secure. LobalCard.com is not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur as a result of the unauthorized use of your card.
4. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Limitation of Liability: LobalCard.com shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising from the use of our website or the purchase and use of our prepaid travel debit cards.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey. Any dispute arising from the use of our website or the purchase and use of our pre-paid travel debit cards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.
6. Changes to Terms and Services
LobalCard.com reserves the right to change these Terms and Services at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website after any changes have been made shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms and Services.
